Job description

We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end sales process in the Industrial  sector.
You have a background in management consulting or held a commercial position in the industrial sector, you have affinity with technology innovation. Knowledge about IoT, big data or artificial intelligence is a plus.
Enthusiasm, curiosity and willingness to learn and grow are important aspects to be successful in this role.
You will be part of the commercial team, where you will play a key role in Jungle’s growth. Given the nature of our product and the long-term relationship that we build with our customers, we sell in a consultative manner. You listen, ask questions to understand customer needs, that you translate into valuable proposals.



Who we are
Jungle develops and applies Artificial Intelligence to increase the uptime and performance of renewable energy assets and industrial machinery. Built on existing sensors and data streams, our technology enables higher productivity of renewable assets, accelerating the world’s transition to renewable energy sources.
We have productised our services into a web application and are continuously improving our tech to ensure that our best analyses and visualisations help our users get the maximum out of their assets. We operate at large scale - millions of data points per day - providing always-on predictive models, alarms and metrics visualisations for some of the largest and most sophisticated customers in the global renewable energy and heavy industry space. This is not your average dashboard, we’re talking about intelligently visualising handling large quantities of data to drive performant visualisations and functionality.



Why do we need you?
Applying artificial intelligence in industry processes and large electromechanical assets has enormous potential, and this has not gone unnoticed. Most asset owners are aware of this potential, but don’t know how exactly they could benefit from using their data in a clever way.
An important part of the role is to advise potential customers on their digital readiness and the steps they can take in order to use data for the optimisation of their operations. You will organise sessions with customers (and potentially other partners), with the aim to:

  • assess current operations and processes (digital readiness audit)
  • propose actions to improve connectivity and data availability issues (digitalization roadmap)
  • propose & implement digital solutions aimed to optimise performance, reduce energy usage, waste and the environmental footprint (digital implementation)

The Jungle story needs to be explained and applied to specific customer needs. We are looking for talented professionals to help us advise asset owners how they can be more productive, more efficient and more environmentally-friendly.



Day-to-day activities

  • Identifying and engaging with industrial customers that want to advance their digital readiness levels
  • Performing digital readiness assessments
  • Organising workshops to educate on digital possibilities in the manufacturing and process industry
  • Product demonstrations
  • Developing and proposing Proof of Concepts to monitor and optimise operations
  • Representing Jungle at conferences

Requirements

  • Demonstrable work experience (at least 3 years) in management consulting or in the industrial sector
  • Fluent in English, working proficiency in German/French/Spanish is a plus
  • Knowledge of digitalisation, artificial intelligence and IoT
  • University degree in relevant field
  • Comfortable with traveling
